Back lighted ant (attempt 1)

By aeras
Searching the garden for something to photograph , nothing at all , only ants. So here comes another one Smile
I snapped one small green leaf , dipped it in honey and tried to get one of them to climb. this little guy just snapped at it with its jaws and after a minute it let go and just sat there licking its "paws" Smile
Camera was set on manual , 3 flashes in total set on manual 1/16 power remotely triggered by camera.
one (Nissin mk2) from the left , another (Nikon SB25) from the right and another (Nikon SB910) from behind and slightly to the left , background was again black paper.
After looking at the image on my monitor it seems that I got a one eyed ant...(left eye)
