Taken from the comfort of my car on a windy and showery day in Upper Teesdale. This Redshank was defending it's small chicks hiding in the long grass in the meadow behind the fence. I don't know if it was me, or my cvar, it was somewhat impolitely asking to clear off, but whichever, it certainly had some courage.

Lovely image but I would have cropped out the wire it distracts a little from the Redshank.

Excellent shot! You could have left the iron part out, though.

What a cracker Ted! Must be well pleased with this one.
I'd darken the lichen a little.

Stunning shot

I also think I would have cropped the wire. But a splendid highly detailed and well timed shot. Nice one
