Badwater

By rontear
Death Valley is surprisingly not dead, there are plenty of desert adapted wildlife/birds/ amphibians/fish.
However it is a harsh enviroment as here in Badwater. 800ft below sea level the lowest place in the USA and a challenge to photograph. I used a fish eye lens to accentuate the landscape and the heat ! Temperatues can reach over 125F in the summer, it was just 90F when we were here.

Great composition, but I think you mean 125F not 125C.

Too hot for me......I'd have died in that heat......Has an almost moon like quality to the image.

Walking on the Moon... This conveys the strangeness. But I couldn't cope with that heat, Siberia is my travel ambition...

The lens has certainly made this very dramatic.

Like walking on the moon except they don't get sunny days there. 90 is more than I would be looking forward to. Living in Scotland warms the blood and we prefer chilly to cooking temperatures. Keep 90 for the Sunday Roast Ron. Love the lens use though, perfect.
