Your first version shows a color co-ordinated neighborhood--- a very fine attempt to give this a more upscale look on the part of the residents--

All three images are of interest and well done!

I find your 1st version to be my favourite. Firstly, the colours sing so loudly, why change it to mono? I love all of the reds, the litter bin as well, and your format, which gives great height to the building. I have to admit to loving the lead image when I first saw it, but love the colour version so much more ! If the 1st version were the lead, it would have got my GEA.
