Balintoy Harbour

By rowarrior
Another from the NI meet, Balintoy harbour near sunet. Not entirely convinced by the composition on this one, I think the main boat is a bit too far over to the left.

Let me know what you think, C&Cs welcome Smile

I see what you mean. The compostion does seem unbalanced. The elements are there but they don't seem to have a good transition between them. Maybe a lower angle of view or using the mooring rope as a leading line/foreground interest could have helped?

A good view of a view that I miss.

Warm regards, Iain.

Perhaps if you'd been a little more assertive and barged all the other toggers out of the way so you could stand a few feet to the right, it would have moved that boat for you relative to the remainder of the scene.
Fine shot nevertheless Katy Smile

See what you mean Katy... bit of a lower angle perhaps, though it may be that part of the problem is your main subject being in shadow whilst the warm sun is lighting the background?

Does make me want to go and sit by the sea though! Probably with a fish supper from that rather fine establishment in Ballycastle Wink

Very nice, but your Mum says that's a bit of a nancy buoy on that boat.
