Bamboo Pit Viper

I had show a this picture to couple of my friends they said the composition is a little wrong. So please feel free to comment. The Focus is not sharp as this picture was taken in total darkness with just a LED Flashlight used to illuminate the subject.

Beautiful snake (not that i would pick it up or anything!). The comp is Great to me but i have some ideas , 1. crop away some of the bottom (up to the coil of th "s") and also from the RH side (again to the coil of the "s") then a small amount from the LH side (again to the coil) this gives more attention to the head and 2. crop very close to the head. These however are just ideas, as i think the image is composed well.

EDIT: quick thought, i notice the head is center of frame it would be better if slightly to the left, leaving space in the right for the snake to look into (or strike!)

Thanks for the suggestion, I did editing just as you told and the picture does look a lot better.
