Bamburgh Sunset

By digicammad
Taken from Stag Rock last week whilst on holiday in Northumberland. As the sun set behind me it found a gap in the dunes and illuminated the top of the rocks, also giving a beautiful glow to the castle.

Nothing done to the saturation. A little NoiseFixer applied as (stupid me) had forgotten to reset the ISO after doing some low light stuff. DOH!

All critique welcome.

Ian

The upper half is superb in fact it is stunning but I find the lower part a bit flatand would trim the pic into a letterbox formation.

Done the ISO thing many times myself! With Dan on the crop, but still like it, especially the light.

Cheers Martin. I had left the foreground in as I thought it provided a contrast with the light, but now I'm wishing I had cropped it.

Oh well, can't win them all. :0)

Did you see anyone else there?

Needed a bit of light on the foreground really.

Cheers Boyd. He must have been there a different night, shame really.
