Bangor Pier Moods

By digicammad
Yet another taken during the Menai meet the other weekend. This one is just after sunrise, looking from Anglesey towards Bangor Pier with a moody Snowdonia in the background. There was very little colour tone so I decided to convert it to mono. The conversion was done using channel mixer. I've also added a subtle S curve to boost the sun rays a little.

We had a cracking time and I've been really pleased with the number of 'keepers' I have. I hope you like this one, thanks for looking and don't forget all comment and critique welcome, whether good or bad.

Really like this and the treatment, maybe a crop under the boats to give that extra impact,
Mike

Good idea about cropping under the boats Mike. I like it as it is but the crop would certainly change the emphasis a little.

Cheers folks.

I had quite a few from this location, and was pleased with most of them, though I did weed out shots that were similar.
I too thought about turning mine into mono, but instead I liked the warm tones I got.
