That's extremely good faffing, Diane!! Love the transformation of day-to-night, especially how you have recreated the car's tail lights reflected on the damp road. The top of the building still looks rather grandiose with all those urns or whatever they are, they don't build 'em like that anymore!! My award is yours, I really like this.

Not sure about the moon and overall blue, but I do like how you have lit up the top corner windows which gives a great sense of occupation. Something for me to consider in my future destruction of perfectly good images. You have really captured the grandeur of the building though and impressive from a moving car.

Great bit of work, Diane! Though I have done a few of these 'day into night' workings before - 8 to be exact, on looking through my images, I was re-inspired by your earlier upload of these creations and started yesterday on working on one to upload, which wiil be my next. They do, as you say take ages, and currently, I'm up to about 10 layers in my PS Elements!
Your story too about the building is interesting. I was brought up in Leeds and on the Headrow was the department store, Lewis's, where you could get anything from on its 5 floors. My mum always took me there at Christmas time to see Santa! I used to love to shop there, but sadly several years ago it went the same way as your Banners, and is now several different shops and mini-stores, one of which is a Sainsbury's supermarket.
