This looks a lot like a Chipmunk Mike, and its a lovely shot, though very underexposed. -2/3 caused the issue; if it was back-lit, you needed +2/3, not minus.

Ive uploaded a mod with exposure sorted out, and re framed.

Whatever the species it is seriously cute and a worthy subject. I think I would like a version half way between yours and Banehawi's, but I am nowhere near my compute and can't do one.
