I like the image and the idea of the balloon is a good one. I just feel the balloon needs a little more work to make it sit right in the image.
One thing I do is to use the finger blur tool in the left side panel in PS and run it around the edges . This helps to soften those edges and to blend it a little more. Just ideas...

I much prefer this one with the addition of the balloon.
(There is an area on the left, between basket and balloon, where the original light blue sky is still showing).
