Looks great and well exposed. I like the fact that its composed with the rock handling the sun and any burn out. It also puts a lot of nice light on the ground around it.

Some noise in the sky especially top right Pete, but the light is good. It has a sort of a pagan look to me .... you can just imagine some blood sacrifice taking place on that rock millennia ago. I can anyways.

that is very clever getting so much detail when shooting direct into the sun

love this one and could live with it on my wall

Opening this large makes a big difference to the viewing pleasure. The light on the rock gives it a beautiful ethereal mood.
I'd be interested to know how you added the for sale tab Pete. Great idea.

Looks great from the thumb, slightly disappointed when opened , but back to being enthralled viewed large. Love the light and the promise of sun, if we can just find a virgin in here....

Standard, advanced or pro? Haven't really got time to look at work, is there a huge difference?

Just noticed the Buy It button - I've had my head burried for too long - a great idea only wish I had't renewed my clikpic subscription a couple of months ago. Will have another look at it in the new year and maybe change over to foli.

Cheers looks interesting. Have been looking at the criteria for EC's and the list of
•Technical excellence
•Innovative
•Treatment of the subject matter
•Creativity
•Personal appeal to me for one reason or another.
•Presentation

and their explanations is an excellent way of selecting images. I was wondering if I could "borrow" it for reference for a report I have to write at work. Part or all of it may go into the book to accompany the Positive View exhibition which my clients may or may not be contributing to.

Oh yeah. I like this. Good old central composition, expertly handled sky. Shadows on top and bottom and beautiful detail from front to back.

The noise in the sky looks like it came from the quality that was selected for web though so should not be a problem.

Congrats Pete.

Cheers,
