Bass, soft and b+w

By ODub
Another shot of my bass, this time in black and white. I wanted quite a soft dreamy sort of image to contradict the sharpness of the bridge photo . I think itís probably a little too soft and the composition isnít exactly right. However, the aim of these photos is to produce something Ďcleaní and I think Iím getting better at that.

All comments and criticism very welcome.

this looks good, has a very arty quality - guitars are difficult to capture - as I know only too well -

Many years ago when I was a "musician", I used to play bass and had an Aria Pro II and sold it for a Fender Prescition, what a mistake that was, I've got a Tanglewood Rebel now. Anyway, I like the dof and the toning to this and it's well composed too.

Yes the Aria Pro II is such good value for money, really nice to play, not just paying for the F name either.

I like this, tried to do something similar with a Fender Strat a while back. I think losing the white areas would improve this as they are distracting (although that would then move your 'in focus' area to the top of the frame and perhaps upset the balance of the pic).

i like how its mainyl soft with just the sharp centre that shows the grain.
