Bass solo

By mrswoolybill
Different approaches to audience communication.
Normally I would look for some light catching the eyes but I rather like the darkness in both of these.
V2 was the only shot I got with even a glimpse of his face visible...
And in response to various comments yesterday I can take a hint, the butterfly wings will appear in colour some time. Can't say when...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

V2... A very classy portrait
V1... His expression seems to challenge you, as he brazenly fingers his instrument...

Love the full frontal gaze. But V2 is typical teenager "I'mtryingreallyhardtobearockstar" look; made me laugh.

Like the tight crop in V2 Moira.
And the butterfly wings in colour ?
You will recall a comment I made on one of your images
in the past where I said there was TOO much colour.
I fancy the butterfly wings will receive the same comment !!

The mean and mood look doesn't seem to suit a teenager.

great stare! Pose, light , expression and the conversions are very suitable. I often hate these colourful stage lights.
