BAT-MAN

By TimothyDMorton
Ok the real title should be Great Horned Owl 15 of 17 from Mountsberg , as when looking at this capture it reminded me as a child the artist Bob Kane captured "BAT-MAN" comics since the shot looks like he is protected the creatures below. While "BAT-MAN" protects the citizens of Gotham City. where he resides as a MILLIONAIRE originally and now a BILLIONAIRE or something similar due inflation.

While the post processing work like the previous was opened in Camera-in-the-RAW and corrected the colour balance, and from their opened in the full Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, and resized to 401 x 600 px and applied the UNSHARP MASK till it looked sharp and then saved as JPEG image for upload to this GALLERY.

He is a great and proud bird when well lit like in this image of yours. My few horned owls were taken in the low light woods and so leave a lot to be desired yet it was a thrill in any case. Yours is a beauty! TG

Decent, but just off sharp. Your shutter speed was probably too slow if hand holding. These birds usually look stronger when staring at the camera. I think you may be over processing.
