Bathroom Abstract

By baclark
Hi everyone, many thanks for the C&C's on Mephisto Turning, glad you liked him too!

Today back to one of my favourite types of image, abstracts.

Helenlinda reminded me of this image by her recent upload. This was taken in March this year through our bathroom window at sunset. I'd gone into the bathroom, saw this and rushed to get a camera! The dark areas are foliage in the garden.

Hope it appeals to some of you?

Thanks as always for looking.

It certainly does appeal to me! Works so well and what superb tones. Guessed it was a bathroom window view!

Re your question, I did indeed have a few sad losses in the garden. Many, however, took it as a sign to fight back are as a result were even more lovely this year!

Superb abstract Barbara, well seen ~ Wish I had thought of that! > Only problem is our bathroom faces East , not the right direction for a sunset.

Very beautiful sets of recent images, Barbara. Please excuse lack of or brief comments - lots to catch up on since coming back from holiday! I have, though, looked at each and every one of your lovely images that I've missed whilst away.
I downloaded the Fractilius plug-in demo version before I went away, and it certainly gives some interesting effects. Not sure though I'd actually buy the full version, as it's not something you would use on an everyday basis, but do like it!

Hi Barbara, nice glass ;o)
I really like the contrast between the sunset and the darkness -and it's made even better by the lightness at the top of the frame. Very nice indeed.
Thanks for you comment - much appreciated.
