v1 is a classic, Diane especially with the dramatic billowing clouds.

2 great captures Diane, like the way the props are slightly blurred given the sense of movementSmile

Love V1 for the clouds but like V2 for the moodiness. Cathy

Oh man...I see what you mean about V2. It's like a scene from a movie! VERY cool SmileSmile

That one's my favourite but V1 is a great shot too. The formation plus that impressive cloud build-up in the back ---> "there's a storm a-coming" Smile

Seriously good timing and captures, Diane. Definitely more freedom without the monopod here, huh? Wink

Light was poor for these fast moving war Planes, yet V is superb

I was thinking an old movie scene! Maybe not specifically 1940s but still old.

Great stuff, Diane! Smile I remember when I were a lad, I used to like to construct the Airfix plastic models, and the largest I made was the Lancaster Bomber, the central aircraft here in V1 Smile I did actually see a real one a few years back at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby, though at the time it wasn't flyable.
