Well seen humorous captures which IMO would work better sepia toned or in the original colour.

Good morning folks, I've added the colour versions for Albert. The yellow colour is natural, it comes from a lichen that only grows on the knotty areas.
Our internet went down last night and today I'm taking a party of French wrestlers to the Roman Wall. I'll catch up some time...

I put them up this way because b&w is cold, and less reassuringly recognisable. Well that's how I see it.

These are quite special Moira, sadly I'm going for the colour as they show the shapes better for me. The mono should make god printsI believe.
So Roman wrestling at the wall, I hope Danny doesn't hear about this, he'll be hopeing you're taking part.

Excellent set of images, wonderful textured and tones, for me it has to be V1&2.

No 1 is too too friendly. No 4 is much more scary and apt for halloween.

O my - very halloweenish and spooky a great set but I am going with V4 partly for the colour but mostly for the interpretation, I see a ghostly figure and dont think I will go down in the woods today!

I like the mono v1 and the color v4....what wonderfully alive fence you have. V4 is an especially endearing little creature.

It is any trick or treaters that come to my door tonight Moira that should be afraid. Not really one that is in a festive mood as far as Halloween is concerned. It is nearly as bad as Xmas I reckon. I suppose I just cannot see the wood for the trees !!
Good shots.

I rather like the colour versions, particularly V3, with it's disting of "eye-liner". Smile

Well spotted, something most of us would simply have walked past without a 2nd thought.

Terrific collection Moira - textures just popping out of the screen!
The mono works well but I just love the coloured versions with that gorgeous natural yellow surprise.

Some very spooky little faces you've captured in the wood Moira, one could say that you have a keen eye for detail and are in the Halloween spirit
