I took this photograph when i was in Wales, near Tenby taking photographs for a college assignment of Movement or Perspective with a sub category of Water. i took this photograph in colour as well as black and white, but in colour it did not seem to look quite right and it seemed too bright and a bit too much to look at. . I think that this photograph looks underexposed in some areas, and over exposed in others, but I think it works. There is a certain element to the picture that makes you look harder to see whether the waves are going on to the beach, or whether it is all just water. Also, either side could look like the beach, and so in a way It has the feel of it being some sort of illusion. The water frames the surfer, Although the surfer is not in the rule of thirds, i think it looks better this way. I trued it on the rule of thirds, but it did not look the same at all. F-stop: f/18
ISO Speed: ISO-200. After i shot this photograph i went down to the beach and waited for the surfer to be done in the water, and then he gave me his permission to use photographs i took of him, although in this photograph you can not tell who the person is.
