Beach Huts, Minnis Bay, Birchington

By andyhicks
While out on a trip to Minnis Bay to take some pictures there was a crane and low loader taking away the last of the remaining beach huts from the seafront, and storing them in a nearby car park. These were a couple of the last huts to be removed for the winter.

Part of me wants either a higher or a lower viewpoint, so that the hut rooflines are not so close to the horizon. Both would be different shots from the one you've taken: but maybe this exact composition captures the low-key, wintry feel that your description suggests...

I wonder what your thoughts were at the time.
