v2 has more moodiness about it, V1 i think would be compositionally stronger by cropping to the top of the shoulder line

Thanks folks Smile I'll probably try some more this weekend and have plans for some other SPs once I get into the attic for some fabric I hope I have stashed up there.

I think you're right about the crop Phil......

The rest of the year? I'll be reading a book about a private detective type person who happens to be a wizard....... No point in switching off totally until after the midnight fireworks which undoubtedly will be going off......

Dud batteries in the remote?

Lovely images Alison Smile
I think I prefer V1, cos the beads are tidier and drape nicely across your back and you've got fingers, as Kaybee mentioned Smile

I've changed the batteries in the remote and thought it had fixed the problem. As I discovered this evening I was wrong.

V1 was shot using the 10 second timer - in V2 you can't see my right arm waving about wildly trying to get the blasted thing to go click Smile

I think v1 with the inclusion of the hand is much more effective. v2 make a lovely and mysterious statement, however, so it's a real toss-up.

Thanks again everyone Smile Light is just one studio light with reflector, knocked down as low as it will go. I love single light stuff.....

I prefer #1 — very elegant. #2 feels more like you're carrying the beads than wearing them, if that makes sense. Quite heavy-looking.

Thank you Smile Yes, the beads were just slung over my shoulder in V2 - not a clue why but then I don't question why I do anything!
