You always inspire me to have a go at a still life Janet - the sign of a good photo! Also a respect because when you try it, you realise how difficult it all is! Maybe that is why I am always loathe to critique other people's images. Not keen on focussing on the minutiae, much more of 'the whole is greater than the sum of its parts' person!

This is what I found on Wiki......
Bile Beans was a laxative and tonic first marketed in the 1890s. The product supposedly contained substances extracted from a hitherto unknown vegetable source by a fictitious chemist known as Charles Forde. In the early years Bile Beans were marketed as "Charles Forde's Bile Beans for Biliousness", and sales relied heavily on newspaper advertisements. Among other cure-all claims, Bile Beans promised to "disperse unwanted fat" and "purify and enrich the blood".
The "unknown vegetable source" worries me a tad
Hmmmmmmm....female weakness ? that's a new one on me Willie and a hard ailment to diagnose I guess.
Quote: I am thinking flatulence
Hence the smoke

Thanks for bothering with my Bile Beans everyone.
Kath, wonderful to have your UA, many thanks.
Thank you for the mod Nathan, of course I approve, always good to see how someone else would see images.

The York Bile Beans sign is iconic. Maybe we should all be trying them...
