Beatrix Was Here!

This is the path down from Claife Heights, above Sawrey near Hawkshead in the Lake District. The water is Moss Eccles Tarn which was Beatrix Potter's favourite fishing place. I had a very nice walk up here this morning and this is one of a few shots I took, hope you like it.

Nice gentle lead-in to a perfect little tarn. She had very good taste in landscape!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Glad you like the title Helen, I don't suppose Miss Potter carved this anywhere but you never know.
