Lovley shot. Well controlled exposure and well composed. I was interested in the fact that you were in Av mode and the shutter speed was 0.4 sec. It was obviously enough to smooth out the water though. I was taking pictures of waterfalls a couple of weeks ago and the weather was rubbish. I needed to be in Tv mode to ensure that I had at least 2 seconds to smooth the water. I suspect that the flow rate of the falls is quite different.
Anyway, enough rambling, I had great fun taking my pictures and I think that you did to!

thanks Nigel yes i was enjoying myself not the best light and a return at a different time might be on the cards. I was in AV mode as a wanted maximum depth of field and a pin sharp image (above f14 with the CMOS sensor and defraction starts softening the image) i then swapped ND filters about to get required shutter speed.
