Beautiful Roses

I took this photo this morning and have been working on it all day. I love how the greens,creams and burgandy all go together and I also like how the roses have a black edge around the rose. After working on it I decided to add some sketchbook colors to make this effect.

Also working with photography gets my mind into creative mode and I will stretch it to see what I can come up with.

It has the look of an old book illustration, like something out of The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady. Unusual and eyecatching effect.
