My own experiments with the Helios from my Zenit don't suggest it's anythign very special (particularly compared with the Lensbaby Velvet optics) - but it's a question of how you use it.

And here, Angi, you've used the soft contrast and the differential focus that an f/2 lens offers beautifully...
