Bee Orchid

By daffydill56
Not been around for sometime yet again, have been tied up with various things, mostly personal, so my sincere apologies for my lack of activity here.

Visited my local patch thismorning in the hope that the bee orchids were still in a reasonable condition. They weren't too bad I don't think? These are one of the most difficult flowers to photograph I have found, especially when the wind kept blowing them!!

Anyway this is stacked using 4 images, and a greenfly cloned out Smile

Thanks to one and all for your support, appreciated as always.

Great shot......Yes I saw some for the 1st time this week and found the right DOF hard to get...never mind with wind.

Stands out well with this B/g.

Good to see you posting again Fran. Stacking has given good detail in both the open flowers - its a lovely Orchid.
