Good morning folks,
Something a bit different today. Found three of these under a log last week.
Don't think it's a Stag Beetle. Would be grateful for some ID.

Good close-up.
I think its a lesser stag beetle - so you were sort of right Smile

Its definitely a Beetle, now I shall just have a further look through my Collins Reference Guide: It looks very similar to a Rove Beetle, this particular species being called a 'Devil's Coach-Horse'
