Before The Battle

By davidhu
A group of Sealed Knot Civil War enthusiasts visited Delapre Abbey in Northampton over the weekend. This is Colonel John Pickering's Regiment of Foote. As well as the usual displays, they also set up a war-time camp and were happy to pose for a few photos.

Thanks for looking.

As with all your work Dave, you paint an interesting story with your montages, I feel a bit sorry for the dog, his expression speaks volumes! This is a really lovely collection...

A lot of hard work has gone into this. I know because I have tried it. A story in pictures. Well done David.

A cracking montage, each pic is wonderful and as Phil says they are time consuming to do. Certainly deserves much more attention. Excellent work

As always Dave a great set of images but it is your eye for detail and your arrangement of the pics that turn them into superb montages.

Very well assembled Dave. You make this type of montage look so easy but it ain't cos I've tried it. This is up there with one of your best, colourful and full of interesting characters and detail.
