Before the flood

By Phoebecat
SHOTS TAKEN WITH A Ä6,90 BARBIE WATERPROOF (yeah, yeah) CAMERA

OK folks, here it is - two shots dad took before the silly camera flooded and wrecked the remaining ones. Have to confess a slight bit of curves and levels work - only in respect of the discerning viewers here on EPZ! All spots and flaws are guaranteed in-camera effects - neat huh?

Sorry I havenít commented on photos recently - Iíve been helping paint out my daughterís school and in the heat here in Italy that means getting home in near zombie condition.

Thanks for viewing

Matt

PS I'll see if we can post something tomorrow she took before the thing packed up.

I really like this. So did you get in trouble for wrecking the Barbie camera? I think you got your 6,90's worth! An image you'll remember and she will still remind you of when she's 18 and that you wrecked HER Barbie camera!

Like it, good colours and perspective, especially the one on the right. Nice how you have brought this little story about your daughter's camera to us in the last coupke of days. Cheers, Bert

Family comes first, especially daughters! They give you that look that breaks your heart if they feel you let them down.. Actually this is not bad for an underwater shot, there actually is clarity. Take it easy in that heat, lived in Italy for 10 years and have experienced some of those hot winds that came across from Africa, they are killers! Stay cool, Spot on! Click!!!

I was waiting to see the Barbie camera in action - too bad it flooded, I was thinking of getting one! you did manage to get a couple of good shots with it though - does your daughter want a really expensive underwater camera now?

Love these - great quality to them despite the crappy camera. Sign of a good photographer I would say!

Good shots, nicely presented. That thing actually did not too badly. Is there any warranty on the Barbie camera? Good luck.

Nice underwater shots, with a barbie cam! The grain makes it look so nice.
Good luck with the painting and let's hope it gets a bit chiller (or something eg. "colder") so you wouldn't be a zombie every day.
Go Italia!

Thanks fot all the comments and clicks. I think this one's a record - probably the first ever RC on EPZ with a Barbie camera (and underwater to boot!). Now that it's dried out I think we'll load it up for the last time, seal it with silicon and take it underwater once more. This time I hope she can take the shots - afterall, it is HER camera!

Thanks once again
