.....and.................. run away!!!!
The high winds fairly blew that squall across at us from the west and I got the first shot here, and the next was splattered with rain!... hid/sheltered in a rocky recess and then the camera came out again! Stubborn... moi? Never..

I remember it well, was looking for the missing grad at the time.!
remember the winds here too from my visit in April, good timing with this one Jeanie, you can almost see the rain in the mist
..and I thought you were running round trying to avoid getting wet Chris, hahah... oh don't forget the lost remote cable that Mr Scholey found for you later
Cheers Richard - I can still feel the rain lol....
Dramatic weather often makes for the best shots, and that's certinally dramatic!
It was certainly that Matt.. I knew it would be windy up there.. but this was even more so than expected lol!
This is lovely, beautiful when the sky looks like this. And such a wonderful f/g...........Sandy
Nice stormy shot. .....I suppose it is an advantage of being 4 foot 11 inches in that you can find a sheltered recess more easily
five foot one AND A HALF, I will have you know!
..with a bit more in my wellies or if my hair is piled up on top !
Thank you Sandy
Mesmerising photograph; sometimes it's best to put up with the weather.
The contrast between the two sides of the sky makes for quite a dramatic image: certainly looks like rain heading for you: very nicely composed land/seascape shot.
Good shots come to those who persevere. Well worth it, Jeanie!
Was on my to do list but sadly was not to be this trip, but next time, anyway Jeanie thanks for reminding me what I missed, love that light
Brilliant composition and light.....John
It's an exposed location this so I admire your dedication. A fine image, Jeanie.
