Getting in late this month, due to illness and a week abroad (thankfully not the same week).

Lit the fish (Chips) from either side with a couple of small remote flashes (gelled), and Jay just did what he does, and tried to figure out a way of getting a free meal. Luckily for Chips, Jay isn't too smart Smile

Like the idea, but think there are too much in it at the moment, maybe without the wheelie thingy and the house thingy will be better.

I think this is brilliant! An excellent shot, very sharp on the fish, and super of the cat lurking in the background.

what a great capture, the scene reminds me of the old tom and gerry cartoon when toms trying to get the goldfish.....cant think of much that i woud change the colour of the fish is beautiful, maybe a little light in the cats eye just to help it stand out a little bolder and just a little niggle I dont personally like the wording at the top of the screen it just seems unnecessary , well done

Like it a lot. Makes you think you are in the tank with the fish and that hungry cat has got his eye on lunch! Good sharp image. Maybe a little busy, perhaps remove the ornament in the left corner. Smile

LOL a great fun image. I did not even notice the cat at first - only when I took a second look!! I am not so keen on all the white dots on the image - presumably stuff in the water and I think I would prefer that you cloned them out. I think without them, the image would be "cleaner" and the focus would be on the fish and the cat.

Hope you are feeling better..

Sorry for the late response, work getting in the way again!

I love the vibrancy in the photo with the colour of Chips and the tank Scenery. However, it did distract me from seeing Jay in the background - it took me 3 looks to see him, even after reading the other comments. Will go and get my eyes testedSmile

I'd say the lighting worked well, i've had real difficulty avoiding reflections from the glass whilst trying similar shots. I agree with Jeanie that the dots are a bit distracting, cloning them out is prob the only option.

Overall the shot shows your pets being themselves, the interaction between them is captured well. I guess that Jay does this a lot, but Chips isn't too worried? Thanks for posting.

Agree with the fact that it was hard to see who Jay was.

The detail in the tail is good and once I found Jay I liked the way it was hidden. I think It would of been better if there was only one image of Jay, it looks to me as if there are two.
