Beinn A'Chrulaiste Panoramic

By jamesgrant
New Years Day 2017 saw me with a burst of energy and I decided I wanted to revisit Beinn A'Chrulaiste to capture the sunrise...Me and my girlfriend had attempted this nearly 3 years ago but all didn't go to plan due to deep and heavy snow combined with battering winds. We pitched a little up the mountain and didn't really get what we went for...So, fast forward 3 years and we made our second attempt. We set off on clear skies and all looked promising. A cold frost and dustings of snow were helping too...Unfortunately, as is often the case the clouds rolled in and blocked any chance of a sunrise. This was as good as it got, with a little undelighting to the clouds on the left and a patch of light hitting the Glencoe Mountain resort...Rather than giving up, I decided to make this panoramic anyway and despite everything I still quite like it showing off the grandure of the location.

Consider a mono conversion - I think you'll find it works quite well.
