Thanks to Isabel (Chinga) for your award. Thanks to everyone for your C&Vs for yesterday.
On Friday last, I managed to get to Birling Gap for the first time since Covid 19 came to this world. A few months ago the cliff collapsed, taking away one of the paths near to the old Belle Tout lighthouse hotel. I had only seen this by local TV, news drone coverage and thought I would inspect the damage for myself. Due to the lay of the land, it proved difficult to capture the far side, but if you enlarge you will just be able to make out the path leading away from the break on the far side. The hotel has already been moved back once before and today it is still in use. No one was injured when it collapsed, probably due to it occurring during the night.
The version is in colour.
