Not the usual type of Bluebell image but very original. I like how you have used a zoom lens to get the image, something I might try next time Wink

Like the way you have used a large aperture to select a narrow depth of focus and like "Daisymaye" commented, the shadows on the tree truck is a very nice touch.

The shallow dof and use of close tree trunk and sunlit leaves is exactly the sort of shot I have been looking to take ( and failing miserably) this year. Brilliantly done Jeremy.

Probably the best bell image I've seen so far this year Jeremy, wonderful light and such clarity on those leaves and tree trunks. Superb composition too matey... Spot on!

Great, it stands out from all the bluebell shots by your use of shallow DoF to highlight the leaf shadows on the nearest trunk whilst still preserving the blocks of colour that make these images (trunk, foliage and blooms). Very cleverly worked!
