Ben Nevis

By viscostatic
This is the side of Ben Nevis that is seldom seen. Photographed yesterday morning from the slopes of Sgurr a' Mhaim on the other side of Glen Nevis. The peak that can be seen is Carn Dearg; the main top still hidden in the clouds. The shadows are provided partly by clouds and partly by surrounding hills.

Thank you to all who viewed, voted and commented on 'Earthy Powdercaps' with special thanks to Mike for his GE award and to Fred, Rebecca, Pamela, Richard, Sylvia, Lory, Mara and John for their awards.

Beautiful, thank you these images of mountains make up a little for me not being able to get to them. Love the mist and cloud on the tops.
