Apologies. I may be slow on the uptake but what is it in the water?

Ahh, it's a small mooring bouy in Penetangs outer channel, Georgian Bay, Ontario

I am hoping for some feedback on the positioning of the buoy and how the contrast may be increased. Thoughts?

Hi Mike,

To be brutally honest, it's not the most interesting shot I've ever seen.
You can improve the position of the buoy within the shot by cropping the RHS and the bottom to place it on a third, which a lot of people consider to be important and you can increase the contrast in various ways. A check using levels shows that it's a bit overexposed, which is easily dealt with in software. I simply used "auto levels." Just doing that improves it a little.
Sorry if that all sounds very negative.
I've added a mod.

Not negative at all. Without feedback how do we learn? You're right it is a bit blah of a shot. Still trying to find my way! lol. Thank you very much.
