I like the lead but love the b/w version Bill. Excellent subject for conversion although both images are worthy.

Have a peaceful Easter.

I much prefer the colour lead, Bill. the flat light has helped colour (as it often does) , but doesn't lend itself to B&W. Also the red sandstone of the church and the green grass produce similar tones in B&W unless one uses filters or adjusts the colour sensitivity channels; so here a red or orange filter would darken the grass and lighten the church, a green (or even blue) the opposite, and the filter strength can be adjusted to control the effect.
That said it's a pleasant spot and I like your composition with the church and the group of gravestones framed by the trees.

What James said....I love to shoot color in that kind of light. The color wins here. And a beautiful capture of the lovely little church and graveyard.

Whats left behind ...gets left behind ....

Colour for me ...makes the church pop so nice and
picks up the moss on the trees . Wonder if those daffodils have bloomed by now ?
Stellar shot Bill,
Best regards
Walt
