Big Bang

By Leilani
Sorry to disappoint...I know it's a flower and not a shot of the Universe at the moment of conception but it kind of came out looking like it when I tried to bring out the flower rather from the background. I haven't a clue as to what this flower is called, and it might be a bit unrecognizable in it's present state...but I am sure someone will tell me. Nonetheless, hope you like it! Smile

Humble gratitude to all those who commented and voted on my last image...many blessings on your head! Smile

Great shot Loren, looks like an onion or chive head after flowering, but then it could be the universe expanding Grin ... Carol

Uh, Oh - no vote button, will have to come back later and see if it is back, disappeared from mine yesterday evening as well

A beautiful flower against a dark BG can't fail. You have created a beautiful image.
The flower is an astrantia, not sure which variety though.
