Big Chad, Little Chad ...

By sut68
Chad Smith, drummer for the 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' during the encore at last nights cracking concert at the M.E.N. Arena, Manchester. Compositions and opportunities are a little challenging to say the least, especially when people insist on being hoisted onto someone else's shoulders Smile

Something a little different for me, but hey Wink

Cheers for getting past the thumbnail Grin

T'was a great night mate, fine mix of old & new ... Josh Klinghoffer on lead guitar and supporting vocals was superb too, a fitting replacement for Mr Fruciante!!! Smile

Cheers folks ... quite impressed with the little camera, seems to be quite adaptable, though the noise handling leaves a little to be desired!!!

Surprisingly little noise in this image Paul. Tis iindeed a well taken capture under the circumstances. Well done for just being able to stand still and take it without getting camera shake from the foot tappingSmile

I did some at their 2006 concert and posted them here too Ron ... they didn't exactly set the world alight then either Wink

Wouldn't mind getting up to the front with my 7d and having a pop there ... I quite fancy that challenge!!!

The noise is not so noticeable in this one Malc and at this size [but you can see some on Chad], the brighter ones suffer a little more!!!

Cheers guys,

I've got a G9 Paul. Great little camera (and I've got the stick on grip and the lens hood). Shame the Viewfinder's so useless. Am consider a change to the Fuji X10 at the moment.

Yeah, cracking little camera, fits nicely into the pocket too Smile

Viewfinder is pretty pants, agreed, but I compose mainly using the screen anyway!!

He also plays with Chickenfoot with Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony & Joe Satriani.

Excellent image, though I much prefer V2.

Cheers Dave ... must confess I already knew about Chickenfoot [they're played/mentioned enough times on Planet Rock], but thanks all the same.
