Bilton Road

I know it's unashamedly chocolate box Smile

I stumbled across this building a month or so back, but didn't get a chance to photograph it until last week. It was designed by the noted architect Edwin Lutyens so you'd expect it would be a folly set in a large estate, or a guest lodge maybe but it's in the middle of an industrial estate in Basingstoke. Lutyens had a brick factory in the town which is now long gone, but this the office building has been restored - a lovely gem of Edwardiana tucked away almost out of sight.
