Bitter Memories.

By Carlkuntze
Rouen, France.

A facade pockmarked with bullet holes, the front of The French Ministry of Justice. A commemorative plaque honoring the defenders who resisted Nazi soldiers during WW II. The shadow of a pillar that seemed omnipresent to deflect the autumn sun. Reminders of a recent conflict they do no wish to forget.
