Bittern

Taken at Gosforth Park just north of Newcastle. As A member of Northumbria Natural History Society I am able to visit this great little gem of a reserve.
I would like to thank all who commented and gave awards on yesterdays upload and I,m also amazed by response, as I have not ben active on Ephotozine for a long time.

Superb in-flight shot of a Bittern, Harry. I know how difficult it is to get a photograph of a Bittern, let alone even see one.
