Black-tailed skimmer

By oldgreyheron
Once again RSPB Saltholme shows that the RSPB is giving all sorts of nature a home. Here we have what I hope is a broad-bodied chaser dragonfly resting on the path to the Saltholme hide.

Mike

Edit at 19:30 - ID wrong, title changed to Black-tailed skimmer - thanks Brian.

A fine shot Mike, just like myself you did not have a very favourable background. I too thought it was a broad bodied chaser until i saw Karen Bolts (epzer KarenFB) pic of one she took beside the Exeter canal last week.
