I had hoped to get some new photos while I was off over Christmas and New Year, but the weather coupled with flu and laryngitis for me and now flu for Phil have put paid to my plans and I'm back at work tomorrow so here's a shot of Blackrock Cottage in Glencoe taken two years ago on Monday. It's similar to images I uploaded at the time, but it seems that I missed this one for some reason.

Many thanks for your votes and comments on my last upload. They are much appreciated, as always.

Great to see a different type of shot from this wonderful location Sue, this really works for me, even though I can feel the chill coming through the screen at meSmile

A Christmas card winter scene, Sue! Lovely, but I'm glad to be here instead of in all that snow!

An almost white canvas that works well for it. Hope you both feel better.

Lovely Christmassy shot Sue and a pick me up from the appaling weather we're having just now.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and Phil a Happy New Year.

I am surprised you managed to overlook this one, Sue.
A small constructive observation...it feels a tad unbalanced, with all the interest in the lh two-thirds. Shame you didn't think to move that fg boulder over to the right...it can't have been that heavy.TongueSmile

This would make a great xmas card, as already mentioned by others.

Hope you're feeling better now, Sue, after your bad spell of illness Smile If the weather up there is as bad as it is here, you're better stopping indoors! A very beautiful capture of the snow, and much prettier than this horrendous weather Smile

There's something very rewarding about being on the moor in snow, the whole place takes on a new feel. Like something you see in films but not here in Scotland. Lovely image you found, and proves the point, it's always a good idea to trawl your hard drives to see what's there.

Hope Phil gets better soon Sue, all the very best
