More finds again his morning. Have been trying to find some sort of date for these 2 tins, which used to contains Pickerings Web Blanco, but currently to no avail. If anyone has any info, about these tins, please let me know.

You can find a little history about Pickerings here , and also a little history about Blanco too.

Would also like to thank PattiW for her Ua on yesterdays uploadSmile

All C&Cs welcome

Thanks for looking

A super still life in mono, Den. Keep searching.

Normally I might query the dust specks in the reflection, but they add so much here!
I grew up with Blanco for white plimsolls, I assume this was a similar treatment for khaki webbing straps on rucksacks and similar?

I like this very much, Den. The mono tones work perfectly, an excellent conversion, while the subject is different to the norm.
Blanco suggests military to me, and the Army has lived in your area for generations. While that might explain the source I can't suggest a date at all; and we were told to use wet chalk on our plimsolls Smile
Good write up and still life done to a tee. Good light well composed
