Blaven Sunset...

By Scottishlandscapes
...on the way back from another hillside the light did this just as it was setting.

Just enough light to bring out some fg detail, Dougie. Perfectly timed with respect to the disappearing sun, and a good sky above to complement it all.

Beautiful Dougie - just the right moment and with great control of tricky lighting conditions.

Nice to see you backmfrom your Skye trio, Dougie; a most dramatic image, the light so special and throwing colour across the distant mountainside and the underside of the clouds.
Look forward to more from the Misty Isle.

Welcome back boyo, hope you had a good time.

Excellent low light imagery and that sky has an almost electric feel to it.

Different and delightful image Dougie. It couldn't be any other time of year.

The only real sunset we had and you caught it superbly, especially as it came as a surprise as the sun suddenly found this gap - quick thinking and work on your part.
Cheers Claire, one of the many magic moments we shared on Skye.

Beautiful shot !....makes me think of opening a 'furnace-door' in a steel-works, with that fiery glow lighting up the surroundings !!!!!

Dark and moody, but still you got a fantastic moment to capture. Hope you had a good time on my favourite place, (one of them... Smile)
