I know horses like playing in snow, but perhaps this is a little too much. Lovely picture.

That is some snow scene.
Bleak yes but with it's own beauty.

The epitomy of a Norwegian winter in my valley where there are many stables. They house the horses of the people from Oslo, some 40 minutes drive away. Good money in it apparantly.
I was talking to our local vet about the animals being outside in winter all day, only being stabled at night, and she said they feel no discomfort even though the temp is -20c or more As long as they have access to food, they are OK. They eat snow for water.
The 'coats' they wear are to protect from the effects of the wind.
