Flowers, my favourite subject. I like the saturated colours but it does depend what finish you want. For me the flowers on the right are strong and interesting enough to carry the composition so personally I would have lifted them from the bottom right and placed either top left or more central and done away with the second bloom altogether. As for background, if the detail in the background distracts you from the main subject then I think it could be more blurred. If it compliments and completes the composition I would leave some detail. In yours the only thing that distracts is the stem of the second flower so if removed or repositioned that problem would be resolved. The real question is do you like it and if you do then job done. Firstly, I don't feel that keeping both flowers is really a good option. Usually, either 1 or 3 appear to look better than 2. Secondly, that long broad stem to it doesn't help your composition.
So here I would have removed the top left flower head, by lightly bending it out of the wat whilst I took the picture (Photographic gardening). Normally an aperture of f5 would have given you a fair amount of differential focussing but compacts seem to produce greater DoF than DSLR, but being rather dark, it appears reasonable to me.
Regarding saturation, I feel it is a little too much but we all have different ideas about what we both want and like.
The border gives me cause for concern, you already have a rather dark picture and the border is, to my mind, overly dark which fails to complement your picture, maybe a smaler and lighter on would be preferred.
I have uploaded a mod where I have made a square crop. I have also desaturated the image a little, adjusted colour curves, removed the second flower head and stem and applied a lighter border.
I hope you like it.
