Blue Bridge - Pink Bridge.

Continuing our walk into Newcastle along the River Tyne we came to the beautiful and stylish Millennium Bridge. It continually changes colour at night via spotlights directed onto it. We saw lots of photographers out with their tripods and cameras; not knowing anything about this lovely new riverside scene in Newcastle, all my shots were hand-held.

Marvellous colours - I prefer the lead shot but might have cropped the left a little to loose the bus.
Then.... I saw the brave gent. Is that a Sunderland shirt he's wearing on the Quayside Smile

The pink certainly stands out against the sky and river. I didn't know they lit it up at night so I missed out on it when I was there.

Considering your images are handheld they are pretty sharp. A steady hand! Interesting view, as we have only been here in daylight, so takes on a different atmosphere at night. You also captured them, when there was still some details in the sky, my preferred time for night shots.
